Ingredients
- 2-1/3 Cups Chocolate Chips
- 1 Cup Butter
- 1-1/3 Granulated Sugar
- 3 Extra-large or Jumbo
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 Teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1-1/4 Cups All-purpose or Cake Flour
- 1-1/4 Cups Chocolate Chips
- 2/3 Cup Chocolate Chips for topping
- Any flavor chocolate chips are perfect for this recipe

Step 1
Place chocolate chips and butter in a microwavable bowl and give it about two 45 second shots, or until chocolate is melted.
In another bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla at medium speed for about 2 minutes. Then fold the melted mixture into the egg mixture. Now, mix in the flour with 1-1/4 cups of chocolate chips. Mix well.
Divide the batter into 2 - 8" x 8" x 1-1/2" square pans, bottom and sides sprayed sparingly with Pam. Bottom-line the pans with parchment paper. Spread batter and fill to the corners, tap the pans to make the batter even. Divide chocolate "chips for topping" and sprinkle half on top of each pan. Place the pans on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for not more than 28 minutes. Cool and cut into 2" squares.
