Ingredients
- 1 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 Medium Tomatoes, sliced thin
- 1/2 tsp. Laurie's Seasoned Pepper
- Juice of 1 fresh lemon
- 2 slices Red Onion, thin-sliced
- 5-6 leaves Fresh basil, chopped into 1/2 -inch slices
- 3 cloves Fresh Garlic, pressed
- 1/3 pound Fresh mozzarella, sliced thin
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix.
Refrigerate for a minimum of three hours.
Preparing Toasted Baguette Slices
When ready to prepare brushetta, slice Atlanta Bread Company® French Baquette diagonally, in 1/2 inch slices. Using pastry brush, brush ABC Bruschetta Marinade on one-side of French Baquette Slices. Toast until brushed sides are golden brown.
Assembling the Atlanta Bread Company® Bruschetta
Place toasted Baquette slices on serving platter, toasted-side up. From the ABC Bruschetta Marinade, layer brushetta slices by layering the following on top of the toasted Baquette slices:
tomato slice
then mozzarella cheese slice,
then onion slice;
top with basil leaf.
