Sicilian-Style Pizza

It's really the rectangular shape and thick crust that makes the pizza Sicilian. Add any of your favorite pizza toppers and even make different sections of ingredients. Sauce and cheese are a must!

Ingredients

  • Vegetable cooking spray

    loaves (1 pound each) frozen white bread dough, thawed about 3 hours. If using Rhodes loaves, they offer other quick defrost methods

  • 1

    jar (14 ounces) Prego® Pizzeria Style Pizza Sauce

  • 2

    cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 8 ounces) More if you really like cheese.

Directions

1 Heat the oven to 375°F. Spray a 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan with the cooking spray. 2 Place the 2 loaves of dough into the pan. Press the dough to cover the bottom of the pan. Pinch the edges of the dough to form a rim. Spread the sauce on the dough to the rim. Top with the cheese. 3 Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust is brown.
