Ingredients
- Pastry for 9 inch two crust pie
- 1 C. sugar
- 1/3 C. all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. apple pie spice
- 4 C. sliced pared tart apples
- 2 C. fresh or frozen cranberries
- 2 T. butter
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. Prepare pastry. Line in 9" pie pan.
3. Stir together sugar, flour and spice. In pastry-lined pie pan alternate layers of apples and cranberries and sugar mixture, beginning and with sugar mixture. Dot with butter.
4. Cover with top crust. Cut slits in crust; seal and flute edges. Bake 40-50 minutes. Cool before serving.
