Ingredients
- 1 15 oz. pkg Pillsbury All Ready Pie Crusts
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 16 oz. can Libby's Solid Pack Pumpkin
- 3/4 C. granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 12 oz. can undiluted evaporated milk
Preparation
Step 1
1. Prepare pie crust according to package directions for filled one-crust pie using 9 inch pie pan.
2. Twist edge as shown. Trim dough even with outside edge of pan and brush edge of crust with egg white. Cut six 1/4" wide strips from remaining dough. Twist two strips together and place along edge of crust, pressing lightly to secure.
3. Preheat oven to 425°F.
4. Mix filling ingredients in order. Pour into crust. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°F. Bake additional 40-50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. (If necessary, cover the edge of the crust with aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning. Cool; garnish if desired.
