Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2-1/3 cups all-purpose baking mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
Preparation
Step 1
HEAT oven to 425°F.
TOSS strawberries with 1/4 cup sugar.
STIR baking mix, milk, 3 Tbsp. sugar and butter in large bowl until mixture forms soft dough. Drop into 6 mounds, 2 inches apart, on baking sheet.
BAKE 10 to 12 min. or until golden brown. Cool slightly.
SPLIT shortcakes; fill and top with strawberries and COOL WHIP.
