Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/3 c. all purpose flour
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups diced chicken
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup chopped pimento
- Sliced bread
Preparation
Step 1
In a saucepan, melt butter, blend in flour and salt. Add chicken broth and milk all at once. Cook, stirring constantly, till sauce is thick and bubbly. Add diced cooked chicken, fresh sliced mushrooms and chopped pimentos. Heat through. Serve over toast points.
