Mardi Gras Rita

This is a sweet margarita, so you can forego using salt on the rim!
Drop a shot of Grand Marnier into a regular frozen margarita for yet another sweet version of this traditional drink.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons tequila
- 1 tablespoon Cointreau
- 1 tablespoon Rose’s lime juice
- 6 tablespoons sweet-and-sour mix
- 1 1/2 cups crushed ice
- 1 tablespoon Chambord
- Lime wedge or cherry for garnish
Preparation
Step 1
Place tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, sweet-and-sour mix with ice in blender; process until slushy. Pour half of mixture into glass.
Pour Chambord over top of mixture in glass.
Pour remaining mixture into glass to complete layering; garnish with lime wedge or cherry.
