CHOCOLATE MAYONNAISE CAKE AND ICING

Ingredients

  • CAKE:
  • ∙ 2 cups flour
  • ∙ 1 cup sugar
  • ∙ 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • ∙ 4 level tablespoons cocoa
  • ∙ 1 cup cold water
  • ∙ 1 cup Miracle Whip
  • ∙ 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • FROSTING:
  • ∙ 1 cup sugar
  • ∙ 1/4 cup cocoa
  • ∙ 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • ∙ 1/4 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

CAKE:

MIX first four ingredients together in a bowl. After well mixed, add:

∙ 1 cup cold water
∙ 1 cup Miracle Whip
∙ 2 teaspoons vanilla

MIX and bake at 350* for 35 minutes in a 9" x 13" pan

FROSTING:

BOIL all ingredients slowly for 1 minute. Beat and spread on cake.
