Ingredients

    can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained

  • 1

    can (11 oz) niblets corn, drained

  • 1

    can (4 oz) chopped chiles

  • 1

    cup cooked rice

  • 1/2

    cup cornmeal

  • 1

    tsp onion powder

  • 1

    tsp garlic powder

  • 2

    Tbsp oil

  • salt and pep

Directions

In a large bowl, mash the black beans. Add corn, chiles, rice, cornmeal, onion and garlic powders. Form mixture into 4 large burgers. Salt and pep burgs and cook in hot oil. over med heat until a brown crust forms, turn and cook on other side.
