Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. dark corn syrup
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 3 qts. popped popcorn
Preparation
Step 1
Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, cook for 5 minutes. Stir in vanilla and baking soda. Place popcorn in a very large bowl; pour brown sugar mixture over popcorn and toss to coat. Spoon into a buttered 15x10" jelly-roll pan. Bake at 250 degrees for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Makes 3 qts.
