Ripe and Rye Canapes

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1-3oz can sliced pitted ripe olives
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup grated onion
  • party rye bread slices

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375.

Mix together the first 5 ingredients. Spread on party rye bread slices. Bake about 8 minutes.

Serve hot.

May be made ahead. Canapes may also be frozen.
