GREEN BEANS - ANN FARRIS

Ingredients

  • 3 lb can green beans
  • Honey Baked ham hock remove good meat and save
  • 2 onion, cut in 1/8's
  • cracked pepper
  • water to cover ham bone
  • 3 Tbs brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

BOIL ham hock, 1 onion, pepper and water for 1 - 1 1/2 hours.

REMOVE ham bone.

ADD green beans (if too much water still left remove some) another onion and brown sugar. Simmer another hour.

PUT extra ham in beans at the end.
