Ingredients
- ∙ 2 cucumbers
- ∙ 1/2 cup sugar
- ∙ 1/2 cup vinegar
- ∙ 1/2 cup oil
Preparation
Step 1
Slice cucumbers and put in bowl. Stir remaining ingredients in saucepan until sugar dissolves. Pour over cucumbers and chill.
(Pat and I used to make this last an entire summer. It was like a sourdough starter. We’d keep adding any and all fresh vegetables to the same “stock.”
