Hot dog and Bean Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (16 oz) hot dogs
  • 3 cans (15.5 oz) pork and beans, drained
  • 1/3 C barbecue sauce
  • 2 T brown sugar
  • 1 pkg (8.5 oz) corn bread mix
  • 1/3 C milk
  • 1 egg

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 9 X 13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Heat skillet, add hot dogs and cook about 3 min until browned. Cut into 1/2 in pieces on the bias.
3. Mix together hot dogs, beans, barbecue sauce and b. sugar. Spoon into baking dish.
4. Prepare cornbread following pkg directions, using milk and egg. Spread over top of the casserole.
5. Bake 350 degrees for 45 min. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
