Blackberry Buckle - Shanna

Ingredients

  • 1 cube butter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 t baking powder
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 can blackberry pie filling
  • 1 bag frozen blackberries

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375. Melt one cube of butter in a 9x13 cake pan. Remove from oven. In a mixing bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and milk.

Mix until smooth. Pour over butter and move to the edges of the pan. Mix one can blackberry pie filling with one bag frozen blackberries. Spread over batter. Lightly sprinkle sugar over the berry mixture. Bake for 45-50 minutes

Blackberries may be substituted with blueberries, raspberries etc.
