Strawberry Salad with Dressing - Karen J

Ingredients

  • Candied pecans:
  • Lettuce greens
  • Sliced strawberries
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • crumbles bacon

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup pecans
  • Dressing:
  • 2 T raspberry jam
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 T Dijon style mustard
  • 2/3 c white vinegar
  • 1/2 c chopped red onions
  • 2 cups vegetable oil

Preparation

Step 1

Mis dressing ingredients together in blender. Prepare pecans by warming them in frying pan first, then adding the sugar. Cook over medium-high heat until the sugar melts and turns slightly brown. Cool on a wax paper covered cookie sheet. Toss salad ingredients together right before serving and enjoy!
