Spring Mixed Greens Tossed with Maple Glazed Nuts

Ingredients

  • Dressing:
  • 9 cups mixed lettuce greens
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 tbsp. Maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pinch pepper
  • 1 oz. Asiago cheese, shredded

Preparation

Step 1

Wash and dry mixed greens. Place pecans in a large dry skillet over medium heat. Stir until fragant. Stir in maple syrup and mix until syrup is absorbed by nuts. Let cool on a parchment lined plate.

Dressing: Whick all ingredients together and refrigerate until serving. To serve, toss all greens with dressing. Arrange on plates and top each salad with pecans and shredded cheese.
