Ingredients

    tablespoon minced fresh garlic

    tablespoons oil

  • 1

    cup canned chicken broth (room temperature or cold)

  • ½

    cup honey

  • 3

    tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2

    tablespoons white vinegar

  • 1

    tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1

    teaspoon minced fresh ginger

  • lemon juice to taste

  • 2

    cups ketchup

  • 1

    cup water

  • 2

    tablespoons hot sauce

  • 2

    tablespoons molasses

  • 2

    tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1

    teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1

    teaspoon salt

  • 1

    pinch paprika

  • 1

    pinch ground white pepper

  • 1

    pinch ground black pepper

  • ½

    cup butter

Directions

Directions: 1 In a bowl whisk together the chicken broth with cornstarch until smooth and no lumps remain. 2 Add remaining ingredients, except garlic. 3 In a medium saucepan heat oil over medium-low heat. 4 Add in garlic and chili flakes (if using) cook stirring until softened (about 2 minutes, do not brown the garlic). 5 Whisk in cornstarch mixture; bring to a simmer stirring constantly and cook until the sauce is slightly thickened (about 3-4 minutes). 6 Delicious! Sauce can be doubled.
