deep dish choc chip cookiew/caramel and sea salt

Ingredients
- 17 tab butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tab. maple syrup
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp b soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup choc chunks
- 1/2 cup milk choc chips
- 1/2 cup caramel pieces
- 3 tab heavy whip cream
- sea salt

Step 1
350 oven-soften 9 tab butter in microwave till almost melted-soften the rest just till you can indent with your fingers
mix butter and sugars together-add vanilla and syrup and mix till smooth
add eggs and then the dry ingredients-mix till smooth dough forms-should not stick to your hands if so add more flour then add chunks and chips-melt caramel pieces and whip cream set aside
press half dough into cast iron skillet lined with parchment-pour caramel over-cover with more dough-bake 15 to 25 minutes take out sprinkle with sea salt and let set for at least one hour
note-baked 15 min uncovered will be slightly under baked in the middle and you can cover with foil and bake for 10 more min for a firmer cookie
