Hash Brown Potato Casserole: Party Potatoes

- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 bag ore-ida country style hash browns
- 2 C shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 C Milk
- 12-16 oz sour cream
- 1 C crushed corn flakes - optional
- 1/4 C + 2 T butter

Step 1
Mix soup, milk & sour cream together. Melt 1/4 C of butter in a 9X13 pan. Lay 1/2 package of hash browns in the bottom of the pan, cover with 1/2 of the soup, milk & sour cream mixture; sprinkle 1/2 of the cheese over top. Repeat all layers once more then cover with 1 C crushed corn flakes & drizzle with 2 T of melted butter.
Bake for 40 minutes @ 350 degrees. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Cover while baking. Bake UNCOVERED last 2-3 minutes under broiler.
OPTIONS: you can change the taste by adding chopped onions, bacon bits, or different types of cheeses.
Hint: I use two sticks of butter as opposed to 1/4 C + 2 T
