Quick Flatbread

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/4 cup olive oil, divided
  • 1 large sweet onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3/4 cup (3 oz.) shredded Asiago or Parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

UNROLL pizza dough; place on a baking
sheet. Press handle of a wooden
spoon into dough to make indentations
at 1-inch intervals; brush with 2 tablespoons olive oil.
BAKE at 425° for 10 to 12 minutes.
CUT onion into thin slices; cut each
slice in half.
Saute onion in remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat about 8 minutes or until browned. Add garlic and next 3 ingredients, and saute 1 minute.
TOP pizza crust with onion mixture, and sprinkle with cheese.
BAKE at 425° for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
