Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1/4 yellow onion, diced
- 3/4 tsp minced garlic
- 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 3/4 tsp black pepper
- 3/4 tsp oregano
- 3/4 tsp Tabasco
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup half & half
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1/2 cup shredded mild cheddar
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 1/2 cans (22oz) artichoke hearts, coursely chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in small skillet. Saute onions and garlic until transparent. Add salt, pepper, oregano, and Tabasco. Cook for 5 minutes. Beat egg in medium bowl. Add half and half and mayo. Mix well. Add cheeses. Mix well. Add butter/onion mixture. Mix well. Add bread crumbs. Stir gently. Fold in chopped artichoke hearts. Pour in 8x8 baking dish. Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Uncover and bake 10-15 additional minutes until browned.
