Turkey Breast - Chili Rubbed

  • 2 cups mesquite chips
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
  • 2 tea. cumin
  • 1 tea. paprika
  • 1 tea. garlic powder
  • 1 (5 1/2-6 lb) turkey breast

Step 1

Preheat grill to medium-high using indirect method. Soak the mesquite chips in water 30 minutes.

Make rub: combine all the ingredients in a small bowl. spread the rub all over the turkey breast, then place the turkey in a disposable foil roasting pan.

Scatter chips over coals.

Grill turkey breast until thermometer registers 170 degrees, about 1 1/2 hours.

Let rest on a cutting board 10 minutes.
