Ingredients
- 1 TBS OLIVE OIL
- 1 LARGE GREEN BELL PEPPER CHOPPED
- 1 RED ONION CHOPPED
- 3 CLOVES GARLIC MINCED
- 1 POUND GROUND BEEF
- 1 (14 1/2 OUNCE CAN TOMATOES
- 2 TSP GROUND CUMIN
- 1 TEASPOON HOT PEPPER SAUCE
- 1/2 TSP SALT
- 1/4 TSP BLACK PEPPER
- 1 CUP FROZEN BABY PEAS
- 1/4 CUP CHOPPED PITTED GREEN OLIVES
- 3 CUPS COOKED BROWN RICE

Step 1
HEAT OIL IN LARGE NONSTICK SKILLET OVER MEDIUM HEAT. ADD BELL PEPPER, ONION AND GARLIC; COOK STIRRING UNTIL ONION IS GOLDEN ABOUT 8 MINUTES. ADD BEEF AND COOK BREAKING APART WITH SPOON,UNTIL BROWNED, ABOUT 6 MINUTES
ADD TOMATOES,CUMIN, PEPPER SAUCE, SALT AND BLACK PEPPER TO SKILLET, BRING TO A BOIL. REDUCE HEAT AND SIMMER, COVERED UNTIL FLAVORS ARE BLENDED, ABOUT 10 MINUTES. STIR IN PEAS, AND OLIVES COOK STIRRING . SERVE WITH RICE
