Ingredients
- 2 1/2 CUPS FLOUR
- 3/4 TSP BAKING SODA
- 1/4 TSP SALT
- 2 STICKS SOFTENED BUTTER
- 1 CUP PACKED LIGHT BROWN SUGAR
- 1/2 CUP SUGAR
- 1 EGG
- 2 TSP VANILLA
- 1 CUP SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS or Dark Chocolate Chips
- 1 BAG (8OZ) CHOCOLATE COVERED TOFFEE PIECES SUCH AS HEATH BAR CHIPS
- optional: Bakers Coconut Flakes
Preparation
Step 1
HEAT OVEN TO 375
COAT BAKING SHEETS WITH COOKING SPRAY
STIR TOGETHER FLOUR, BAKING SODA, AND SALT IN A BOWL AND SET ASIDE.
BEAT BUTTER AND BOTH SUGARS UNTIL LIGHT & FLUFFY; BEAT IN EGG AND VANILLA ON LOW SPEED.
GRADUALLY ADD FLOUR MIXTURE; BEAT FOR 2 MIN UNTIL BLENDED STIR IN CHOCOLATE CHIPS AND TOFFEE PIECES.
DROP BY TABLESPOON FULL ONTO BAKING SHEETS. BAKE FOR 12 MIN UNTIL GOLDEN
Optional: roll tablespoon of dough into cocnut flakes to coat all the way around, place on cookie sheet.
