ITALIAN CRESCENT ROLL CASSEROLE

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/2 Onion, Chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 8-oz Can Tomato Sauce
  • 4-oz Can Mushrooms
  • 4-oz Pkg Cheddar Cheese, Grated
  • 1 Can Crescent Rolls
  • 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1/4 tsp Oregano, Crushed
  • 1/4 tsp Basil

Preparation

Step 1

Brown ground beef and onion in skillet, drain. Add salt, pepper, tomato sauce and mushrooms. Place in 8 x 12” baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.

Unroll crescent dough, and separate. Combine sour cream and crushed herbs. Spread 1 Tbsp of mixture on each triangle. Roll up starting at wide end. Curve into crescent shape. Arrange on top of casserole.

Bake at 375F for 25 to 30 minutes.

** Beef mixture is good served with mashed potatoes.
