Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz.) canned asparagus
  • 1 (14.5 oz) canned chicken broth
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 T. butter
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)

Preparation

The milk and butter really add a lot of flavor and richness.


Blend asparagus with its liquid until smooth; in blender or food processor.

In medium saucepan over medium heat; combine asparagus and broth. Stir in milk. Bring to a low simmer. Stir in butter and season to taste.
