Asparagus Quiche

Ingredients

  • 2 TBSP butter
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 cup of half and half
  • 1 can asparagus tips
  • 6 oz Gruyere grated
  • 9 " deep dish pie crust

Preparation

Step 1

Bake pie crust for approximately 10"
Brown onion in butter
Mix eggs with half and half, cheese, and onion
Layer asparagus on bottom of 9" deep dish pie crust partially baked
Pour liquid on top
Layer asparagus again
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-60 minutes (until firm)
