Chocolate Ganache

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • pinch of salt

Preparation

Step 1

Heat the cream till just before a boil. Put chocolate chips in bowl and pour hot cream over chocolate chips. Let sit about 5 minutes till chocolate is melted. Whisk the chocolate till combined. Add tsp. butter and salt. Will firm up to make a chocolate icing.

Use more cream and it will not firm up as much.
