BLUEBERRY SAUCE

Delicious fruit sauce to serve over waffles or pancakes.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup plus 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 cup blueberries

Preparation

Step 1

Bring 3/4 cup of the water and the sugar to a boil and stir until the sugar has been dissolved. Add the lemon juice. Mix the cornstarch with 1 Tbsp. water and add, stirring, to the syrup. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Add the blue berries and cook 2 to 3 minutes. Serve warm.
