Ingredients

    T Hoison sauce

  • ½

    cup water

  • 1

    tsp cornstarch

  • 1

    lb lean ground pork

  • 1

    Tsp vegetable oil

  • 2

    tsp grated fresh ginger

  • 2

    cloves garlic, minced

  • 1

    sweet red pepper, diced

  • 1

    cup shitake mushrooms, thinly sliced

  • ½

    cup chopped water chestnuts

  • 1

    rib celery, diced

  • ¼

    tsp salt and pepper

    green onions, thinly sliced

    leaves Boston lettuce

Directions

Combine hoison, cornstarch and water, set aside. Brown pork, drain fat and wipe skillet clean. Add oil; saute ginger and garlic. Add red pepper, mushrooms, water chestnuts, celery, salt and pepper. Saute until red pepper and celery are tender-crisp. Return pork to mixture in pan. Stir in hoison mixture and cook, stirring for about 1 minutes. Serve in lettuce.
