Ingredients
- 8 medium onions
- 3/4 cup butter
- 10 cups stock (7 beef, 3 chicken)
- toasted bread rounds
- mozzarella cheese
- seasoning
Preparation
Step 1
Slice onions and saute in butter until pale gold. Add to the stock. Add seasonings. Simmer for 20 minutes. Put in ovenproof soup bowls. Top with bread rounds and grated mozzarella cheese. Brown under broiler.
