PEACH UPSIDE DOWN CAKE
Got this recipe out of a newspaper... and make it often, but usually make it with apples and not peaches

Ingredients
- PAN BOTTOM:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups sliced peaches
- CAKE:
- 1 1/3 cups sifted flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Sift dry ingredients together.
Cream butter and sugar. Add dry ingredients, milk and egg and vanilla. Beat vigourously for 1 minute. Pour over fruit mixture. Bake in 350 oven for 50 minutes.
Let sit in pan for 5 minutes before inverting onto cake plate
