Green Tea-Spiked Applesauce

  • 4 medium tart green apples, preferably Granny Smith, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 2/3 cup strong brewed green tea
  • 2 tsp. Truvia
  • 4 inch cinnamon stick



Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a bubble over medium heat. Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook, stirring occasionally until the apples are very tender, about 30 minutes. Discard the cinnamon stick. Mash into a thick puree with the back of a wooden spoon.
