  • 1 loaf of Day old French bread, cubed
  • 1/4 c. Butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. Packed light brown sugar
  • 8 Eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. Milk
  • 1 tbsp Pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Ground cinnamon

Step 1

Butter a deep baking dish and set aside. Mix the melted butter and sugar together and poor into dish. Add the cubed bread and toss lightly. In a separate bowl whisk the eggs slightly, and add the milk, vanilla and cinnamon and continue to whisk until incorporated. Then poor the mixture over the bread and toss lightly with your hands so that all of the bread is covered evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest over night in the fridge.
In the morning take the casserole out of the fridge and preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 30-35 mins. If the top starts to brown too quickly just cover it with foil and continue baking for the remainder of the time. Serve warm.
