Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Tbls. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. scalded & cooled milk
- 2/3 cup oil
- 2 tsp. salt
- 5 cups flour
Preparation
Step 1
Dissolve the sugar and yeast in the warm water. Let stand while preparing next step. Into large bowl, beat eggs slightly. Add 1/3 cup sugar, milk, oil, salt, and dissolved yeast. Stir well. Add flour until soft dough is formed. Let rise until double in bulk. Form into rolls and let rise until doubled. Bake until brown in a 350° oven
