Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbl sugar
- 1 Tbl shortening
- 1 heaping Tbl yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 1/4 cup scalded milk (cool)
Preparation
Step 1
Combine dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. . Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add to milk and then to dry mixture. Knead together. Let set 10 minutes. Roll & fry.
