FLANK STEAK - MARINATED

  • 1 C. thawed Garlic Pepper Sauce
  • 2 T. red-wine vinegar
  • 1 T. Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 flank steak ( about 1 1/2 pounds)

Preparation

Step 1

In a shallow glass dish, stir together 1 cup thawed Garlic Pepper Sauce, 2 T. red-wine vinegar, 1 T. Dijon mustard, and 2 tsp. olive oil. Add 1 flank steak; spoon some sauce mixture over steak. Cover, and marinate 30 minutes at room temperature or up to overnight in the refrigerator.

Heat broiler; set rack 4 inches from heat. Transfer steak to a boiler pan, spooning marinade over meat. Broil, without turning, 14-16 minutes for medium rare (135°) on an instant read thermometer. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
