Pineapple Tea Sandwiches


A great sandwich to serve at a Victorian Tea!

  • 18 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple (drained well)
  • 1/4 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1-2 stalks celery (chopped fine)
  • 1/4 cup nuts, chopped fine (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 6-8 maraschino cherries (chopped)
  • 1 loaf of bread (white, wheat, rye, pumpernickel, etc)


Preparation time 15mins
Cooking time 45mins


Step 1

Combine cream cheese, confectioners sugar, mayonnaise and mix well with a mixer. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix by hand. Place in the refrigerator until firm. Cut crust off each slice of bread; then spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture on the bread and cut sandwiches into various shapes.
