Ingredients
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup grated raw carrots
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsps. Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. orange extract
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Mix all ingredience together. Drop by spoonsful on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 to 15 minutes. Frost with a butter frosting using orange extract instead of vanilla. I also like to put orange food coloring in my frosting. Good "Fall" cookie.
