Peppered Ribeye Steaks

Ingredients

  • 4 * 4 beef ribeye steaks (1-1/2 inches thick)
  • 1 * 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 * 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 * 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 * 2 teaspoons dried gound thyme
  • 2 * 2 teaspoons dried ground oregano
  • 1-1/2 * 1-1/2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 * 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 * 1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 1 * 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 * 1 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • * Orange slices, optional
  • * Parsley sprigs, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Prep: 10 min. + chilling Grill: 25 min.

Brush steaks lightly with oil. In a small bowl, combine all seasonings. Sprinkle seasonings over steaks and press into both sides. Cover and chill for 1 hour.

Grill steaks, turning once, over medium-hot heat 14-18 minutes for medium-rare; 18-22 minutes for medium; 24-28 minutes for well-done. Place on a warm serving platter; cut across the grain into thick slices. Garnish with orange slices and parsley if desired. Yield: 8 servings.
