Ingredients
- 2 C uncooked egg noodles
- 1/2 LB lean grd. beef
- 2 TBL finely chopped onion
- 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp garlic salt
- dash pepper
- 1/4 C cream-style cottage cheese
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 TBL thinly sliced green onion
- 1 TBL chopped green pepper
- 1 TBL sour cream
- 2 TBL grated parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
cook noodles according to pkg directions
meanwhile, in lg. skillet, cook beef & onion until meat is no longer pink - drain
remove from heat
stir in rest of ingredients (up to parmesan)
drain noodles
place 1/2 of noodles in greased 1 qt baking dish
spoon half of beef mixture over top
layer w/ cottage cheese mixture & remaining noodles
top w/ remaining beef mixture
sprinkle w/ parmesan cheese
cover & bake @ 250 for 20-25 min or until heated through
