Raw Macadamia Nut "Ricotta cheese"

hese are a true nut lover's delight! The uniquely flavorful and creamy taste of a raw mac is incomparable. Perfect for baking (in savory dishes too) and loaded with protein and calcium.

Ingredients
- 1 cup raw Macadamia Nuts
- juice of 1/2 lemon*
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt*
- 1/2 tsp italian herbs
- 1/4 cup water, or amount to get desired texture
- * can be adjusted to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Cooking Directions:
Place all ingredients in food processor; process until creamy smooth (will still be a bit grainy).
Keep adding water, a little at a time, until it's the texture you desire. This is *awesome* as a cheese substitute in lasagna, spinach pie, stuffed manicotti, anything you might use ricotta cheese for!
