Ingredients
- 1 4 lbs. Chicken
- ¼ cup of flour
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 onions (cut in rounds)
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 2 ½ cups of tomatoes
- 1 can of tomato sauce (5 ½ oz)
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- ½ teaspoon of celery seeds
- ¼ teaspoon of pepper
- 1 laurier
- ¼ cup of white wine
Preparation
Step 1
1. Roll chicken pieces in flour and sauté in oil.
2. Remove and add onions until tender.
3. Mix remaining ingredients, except wine and replace chicken in casserole.
4. Pour the sauce over, cover and simmer 45 minutes and incorporate the wine.
5. Keep simmering uncovered, turning the chicken occasionally until cooked (about 30 minutes).
6. Serve with rice or noodles.
