Beef Ribs, Stout Glazed

Ingredients
- 4 1/2 lbs (2 kg) beef back ribs (1-rib portions)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 bottles stout (341 ml each)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 3 T horseradish, drained
- 2 T Dijon
- 1 T Worchestershire

Preparation
Step 1
Rub ribs with salt and pepper; place meaty side down in roasting pan. Add stout, onion and garlic - bake for 1 1/2 hrs at 325 degrees.
Transfer ribs to plate - skim off fat from liquid. Pour 1 1/2 cups liquid into pot; whisk in brown sugar, tomato paste, horseradish, Dijon and Worchestershire. Cook until reduced to 1 cup.
Place ribs on grill, brush generously with sauce. Grill until well glazed and heated through
