Orange-Ginger Ale Punch

Ingredients

  • 3 cups plus 1 tablespoon freshly squeeze orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cans (12 ounces each) ginger ale
  • 1 orange, cut into 6 thin slices, for garnish
  • 6 maraschino cherries, for garnish
  • 6 fresh mint sprigs, for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Pour 1 ½ cups of the orange juice into ice cube trays and freeze.

Place the sugar on a small plate and pour the 1 tablespoon orange juice onto a small saucer or another plate. Dip 6 glasses into the orange juice an then into the sugar so it sticks to the rim. Divide the orange juice cubes among the glasses and pour in the 1 ½ cups orange juice and the ginger ale. Garnish each glass with an orange slice, a cherry, and a mint sprig.
