Ultimate Creamed Corn

Ingredients

  • 1 16-ounce package frozen whole kernel corn
  • 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Green onions, thinly sliced

Preparation

Step 1


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Pour corn into an ungreased baking dish. Top with dollops of cream cheese.

3. Combine milk, butter, sugar, salt and pepper; pour over corn and cream cheese.

4. Bake, uncovered, 30 to 45 minutes, stirring frequently, until corn is creamy and heated through. Top with sliced green onions, if desired.
