Warm Chocolate Molten Cakes with Whipped Cream

This is similar to a molton chocolate cake but much easier to make.

Ingredients
- 6 Ounces Bittersweet or Semisweet Chocolate, chopped
- 3/4 Cup (1 1/2 sticks) Unsalted Butter
- 3 Large Eggs
- 3 Large Egg Yolks
- 6 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1/8 Teaspoon of Salt
- 6 Tablespoons of Flour
- Whipped Cream
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter six ramekings or custdard cups.
Mix chocolate and butter in a heavy sauce pan over medium heat until melted and smooth. Set aside and cool to lukewarm.
Using an electric mixer, beat eggs, egg yolks, sugar, salt at high speed until pale yellow and thick, about 5 minutes.
Fold chocolate mixture into egg mixture until well mixed. Fold flour in until mixed.
Divide batter into ramekins and transfer to baking sheet. Bake 18 minutes until edges are set and center is soft. Serve warm with whipped cream.
