Chicken Tikka Masala

  • • Ground ginger
  • • Onions, chopped
  • • Garlic, chopped
  • • Chicken legs and thighs, chopped small
  • • Tomato puree
  • • Cumen
  • • Garam masala
  • • Turmeric
  • • Ground chili powder
  • • Yogurt - plain
  • • Basmati rice
  • • Cilantro, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Saute ginger, onions and garlic in large dutch oven until caramelized. Add tomato puree, cumen, masala, turmeric, chili powder and yogurt.

Add chopped chicken to sauce. Cook for about 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

Cook basmati separately. Add cilantro to basmati when cooked. Add to the chicken on plate.
